First, we got up at 7:13 for a prayer meeting at 8:00 which was really cool. We got to sit on our knees and hear God's people expressing their passion for Him through prayer.
Second, right after the prayer meeting we had the pre-teens at 9:00. We played tag, duck, duck, goose, musical chairs, and dodge ball.
Third, at 10:00 we went to a person's house whose wall in their backyard had fallen down because of the rain. We dug, and dug, and dug with our hands, pick axes, spades, plastic containers, and more. While we were digging 60cm deep we had to take out all the rocks in our way. These weren't little tiny rocks, or medium sized rocks, but HUGE rocks that were very heavy and hard to get out. It was a lot of work, but we were glad to do it and we had Evair and Toim Toim (two of the teen guys) there to help us.
Fourth, after 2 hrs of hard work, we went back to Bill and Erika's house to eat lunch and take a break. After resting and going over our lesson for the teens, we went back at 3:00 to finish the job we had started. We dug 3-4 more holes and took out at least 7 more big rocks.
Fifth, we had children's worship from 5:00-6:00 where we sang, danced, and Deanna taught her lesson again.
Sixth, Erika gave us the challenge to perform the Lifehouse skit at church on Sunday with 4 other teens (Douglas, Ingrid, DD, and Toim Toim) so we started practicing that last night for the first time, it went really well, and we are all very excited to be a part of something so powerful and touching.
Seventh, right after we were done practicing we took quick showers and headed over to the Grupo CEO building to start our first Sexual Purity lesson to the teens. Deanna talked about how stupid hurts, Jordan talked about the wayward woman and some reasons why people do stupid stuff, to finish David talked about the consequences of making stupid decisions and following the wayward woman.
We ended with an illustration in which we had two teams competing to make the best Tang. David told them in order to get the best tasting Tang all they had to do is follow the directions on the back of the packet. Ingrid made the Tang exactly how it said on the back, but DD decided to do it his own way and added in other ingredients, such as mustard, relish, chocolate sauce, and rice. After they were done making the Tang Ingrid, DD, and all of their team members had to drink what they made. This represented that when you decide to do it your own way and not follow God it's going to taste gross in the end and the people around to will reap the consequences as well. But, if you choose to follow God's directions for your life it will be sweet and the people around you will get to reap the rewards with you. The meeting went really well, the Holy Spirit was definitely working in their hearts.
Eighth, after the meeting we went back to the house and two of the guys (Pedro and Evair) came over to play guitar with David, Douglas, and Patrick. We had a lot of fun playing and singing with them until 10:30.
Lastly, we were very exhausted from our long day so we went to bed and got a good night's rest.
p.s. pray that we can reach hearts with the Lifehouse skit we are doing on Sunday.

It's a blessing to hear what seeds God is planting this early in your trip! Know I'll be praying for you all often, that God will strengthen you, the Holy Spirit will give you His words to say, and that the hearts of the lost and Christians alike will be open to the truth of the Gospel. As in any time of great spiritual victory, Satan will not be far behind to attempt to thwart you in your efforts to spread the Gospel. My prayer is that you humbly rely on God for all things, during both the good and bad of your days there. You all have a special place in my heart, and I'm so excited to soon share in your joy of the Gospel as we continue to faithfully serve Jesus, the Author and Perfector of our faith!
