Hey Everyone!! :) Today was a good day. We began our day with the pre-teens at 9:00. We started off with 4 kids, but as we played some games some kids started to come closer and closer to the door of the Grupo CEO Building. They just stood there out in the rain watching us play games. We invited them to come in but they resisted our request, so, we just kept asking them. Finally, one of them decided to join our game of Duck, Duck, Goose, and then one by one they all slowly started joining us. We ended up having 13 kids! It was so much fun! After we played many games, Jordan told the pre-teens about the story of Noah and the Ark. She emphasized that "God is always in control" and that they needed to give God total control of their lives.
We came back to the house after all of that, and looked for the duck for awhile. Then, we got a little bored with it so we helped Sula (the housekeeper) scrub the floor in Amanda's room.
We then had another pre-teen meeting at 3:00. There were many kids that came. It was a very fun time! As far as the teaching went, Jordan taught the same thing about Noah and the Ark. Then after our pre-teen meeting, we had playground time with all of the kids, age 12 and under. We played so much Tag and Duck, Duck, Goose! Although it was a lot of running, it was very fun!
After playground time, we came back to the house and cleaned up, because we were all covered in sand. Then we went back to the Grupo CEO Building for a Bible Study. Erika talked about going through trials, and how we can choose how to react. It was really applicable. After that we hung out for awhile with the teens and pre-teens. Then we came home and debriefed and had dinner.
